Stage 19: Tribbio - Sant'Antimo (25.04.2006)
Backgroundinformation
We begin the day in Tribbio and march via Montalcino to the Abtei Sant?Antimo. The wine town of Montalcino is famous as the home of Brunello, for many the best Italian wine; here a reception awaits us. And the Romanic construction of the Abtei Sant?Animo is considered the most important of this style in Europe. Length of this stage: 26 km (20% gravel paths, 80% pavement).
