Backgroundinformation
We begin in Piancastagnaio, leave Tuscany, cross the border into the Lazio region, and march to Acquapendente. We enter the territory of the ancient Papal State. The length of this varied and hilly stage: 30 km (70% gravel paths, 30% pavement).
