Backgroundinformation
Our penance on Good Friday in the first part of the climb into the Apennines. Everywhere we find ruins bearing witness to the old Via Francigena and the hospices and churches for the pilgrims. We arrive at Bardone. Climb 160 m to 400 m; stage distance: 40 km (100% pavement).
